Max Benefit cat insurance

Covers vet fees for accidents, illnesses and conditions with no time restrictions

What this insurance policy covers

Our Max Benefit policies provide cover for accidents, illnesses and conditions up to the cover limit with no time restrictions, as long as the policy is active. When a condition’s claim limit is reached, you will not be able to claim for that condition again.

What our Max Benefit policies cover

With our Max Benefit policies you can claim up to a set amount for vet fees for each condition your dog might have. For example, if you have our Max Value policy, your limit for each condition will be £1,000.

You can claim for as many different conditions as you need to and there is no time limit for how long you can claim for each condition as long as you renew with us each year.

Once you reach the limit for a condition, you won’t be able to make a claim for it again and the cover limit will not be reset when you renew the policy each year.

Cover amounts

Our Max Benefit cat insurance policies are different to our Time Limited and Lifetime policies, providing a fixed level of cover per condition, as defined by the chosen plan. As long as the policy is live, costs up to the cover level can be claimed in as short or long a time period as you need.

These policies also include additional benefits such as cover for if your cat is stolen or goes missing (if you paid for them) or if they injure someone or damage their property - providing extra protection and assistance to complement your vet fee cover limit.

So, say your cat was to cut its paw on a piece of glass we would cover the costs of any treatment up until your chosen condition limit was reached.

Once the benefit limit for a condition is used up, that condition becomes excluded. But, we would look to cover any other accidents in the future.

Cover levels

We offer 3 Max Benefit policies, ranging from £1,000 per condition up to £4,000 per condition with no other policy limits. Each unrelated condition will be treated separately, with its own claim limit.

  • Max Value
  • Max Plus
  • Max Extra

Just like our Time Limited policies, our Max Benefit offer extra benefits like:

  • Public Liability
  • Theft & Straying
  • Advertising & Reward
  • Boarding Cattery
  • Death of Pet cover
  • Overseas Travel Cover
  • Holiday Cancellation

The benefit features available in the Max Benefit plan increase the scope of cover provided for you and your cat.

Has your cat been to the vet for anything other than routine vaccinations?

If your cat has been injured before, this is known as a pre-existing condition.

Any injuries or conditions caused by an accident your cat had before you took out this policy will be considered as a pre-existing condition. We are unable to provide cover for any pre-existing conditions, whether they needed treatment previously or not.
